The 6th Dalian International Walking Event will be held on 16th and 17th May in Xinghai Square.
The slogan of this activity is “National fitness and go with Olympics”, promoting a further development of walking activities among Dalian citizens.
Routes:
First Day:
·5km : Xinghai Square - Xinghai Park East Gate - Xinghai Square (Finish)
·20km : Xinghai Square - Binhai Road - Fujiazhuang Park-Royal Sea World-Forest Zoo-Tongxiang Villa - Lotus Mountain Channels - Forest Zoo Western Gate - Xinghai square(finish) Route A
·30km : Xinghai Square - Binhai Road - Fujiazhuang Park - Tiger Beach - Shicao Village-Bangcui Island - Yingbin Road- Linhai Road - Charm of Sea Plaza
Second Day:
·5km : Xinghai Square-Xinghai Park East Gate- Xinghai Plaza (Finish)
·10km : Xinghai Square-Binhai Road-Fujiazhuang Park-Bird Nest- Tiger Beach Sculpture-Prince Hotel(Finish)
·20km : Xinghai Square-Binhai Road- Fujiazhuang Park-Tiger Beach-Shicao Village-Bangcui Island- Yingbin Road- Dajiashan(Yingbin Road slope,finish) Route B
·30km : Xinghai Square-Binhai Road- Fujiazhuang Park -Tiger Beach- Shicao Village-Bangcui Island- Yingbin Road- Linhai Road- Charm of Sea Plaza
Registration: Walkers of all ages and nationalities with good health conditions are welcome to participate in. Registration requries valid IDs.
When to register: January 1st to April 30th , 2008(overseas walkers)
Where to register: online registration (overseas, Hong Kong , Macao , Taiwan walkers) http://www.dcwits.com/endcwits/bm.asp
Registration fee: $30 US dollar /person, contained booklet, badge, certificate, hat, T-shirt, PINS, and a dinner banquet.Please plus 10 US dollars for the fee of airport reception .
